Shell Shock

No matter how pleasant their demenor, how perfect their put-on, they have all experienced some post-tramatic shell shock that you wouldnt wish on your worst enemy. And you let out a silent "Good God! I'm glad thats not me!"; some deep dark secret that they always carry with them, held tightly on their burdened heart that all the gin in the world can't wash away. And some have been so calloused that their nerve ending are shot and can deal with some real tough shit without giving much thought at all; they'll toss kittens in the ocean and murder their own grandmother without so much as batting an eye.
